Older LGBTQIA+ People ‘Have to Go Back to the Closet to Be Able to Find Housing’

An investigation by Puerto Rico’s Centro de Periodismo Investigativo and El Nuevo Día identified a pattern of discrimination against these populations in long-term care centers and elderly homes due, in part, to the lack of professional training and guidance from the Family and Housing departments.
