Las islas del Caribe se asemejan en sus playas turquesa que cautivan al turista, pero su manejo de la pandemia ha estado lleno de contrastes. Cuando las Islas Caimán tenían el 81% de su población completamente vacunada contra el COVID-19 a finales de octubre del 2021, Haití, con 0.3%, era de los tres países del mundo con menos inoculados. Y en Guadalupe, a pesar de contar con dosis de sobra, la mayoría de la población no se quiere inmunizar.

When the Cayman Islands had 81% of its population fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the end of October 2021, Haiti, with 0.3%, was one of the three countries in the world with the least number of people vaccinated. And in Guadeloupe, despite having doses to spare, most of the population does not want to be immunized.
